Booking Conditions

Payments

A deposit of 50% of the total cost of the booking, inclusive of all services ("Total Cost"), must be received before a reservation can be confirmed. Where discounted rates are offered the deposit must be paid by the closing date of the special offer. Failure to do so will result in the reservation being automatically cancelled without notice.
Final payment of the remaining 50% of the Total Cost must be received no later than 60 days prior to the arrival date. Failure to make the final payment on time will result in the booking being automatically cancelled without notice. Cancellation fees will be charged in accordance with the Cancellation Conditions set out below. If the date on which the reservation is made or the date on which the deposit is otherwise due, is less than 60 days prior to the arrival date, immediate payment in full of the Total Cost is required at the time of making the reservation unless otherwise notified to you at the time the reservation is made.
Payments by personal cheque may be refused at Jindabyne Central’s discretion.

Cancellation Fees

Cancellation of a booking must be in writing & must be received by Jindabyne Central via email at enquiries@jindabynecentral.com.au or the Contact Us link on the website. Cancellation fees will be charged on confirmed bookings in accordance with the following Cancellation Conditions. Failure to make final payment on the due date will result in an automatic cancellation of the booking without notice & the following Cancellation Conditions will also apply.

Cancellation Conditions:

  • Bookings cancelled more than 60 days prior to the arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 15% of the Total Cost.
  • Bookings cancelled 30 to 60 days prior to the arrival date will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the Total Cost.
  • For those bookings cancelled less than 30 days prior to the arrival date, a cancellation fee of 100% of the Total Cost will be incurred (that is, there will be no refund). Special packages shown as NON-REFUNDABLE are NON-Refundable.
  • Security Deposits

    A Security deposit of 35% (or $500, which ever is greater) of the standard rate applies to all bookings. A minimum bond of $500 applies where 35% of the booking rate is less than $500. This is to be paid at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. The Security deposit will be refunded following inspection of the accommodation and its contents to ensure no damage has been done or items removed from the premises. Should damage be found or items removed the security deposit will be used to repair demages or replace any missing items. Should the Security deposit not cover such damages or missing items then the additional costs to repair damage or replace items will be invoiced to, and paid by, the person who made the reservation.

    Self Contained apartments and houses

    The following conditions apply to all self contained accommodation such as RidegField II
  • The premises are let to you for holiday purposes only for the period stated on the receipt.
  • The premises are available after 3pm on the day of arrival.
  • Premises are to be left in the condition that you found it. An additional cleaning fee will be charged for properties left in unsatisfactory conditions along with an additional $30 fee if any dishes, pots/pans etc are not clean and have not been put away.
  • The number of occupants must not exceed the number stated for the property. Overcrowding of properties will result in the immediate termination of your stay. Council's objective is to ensure the safety of residents and tourists. Fire safety, health and amenity issues are a priority in the shire. On the spot fines ranging from $600 to $1,500 per person (per person being that number in excess of the DA approved allowance) can be imposed by Council under the Environment Planning and Assessment Regulations 2000 (NSW) for breaching conditions of the development consent.
  • Pets are NOT permitted on the premises.
  • Tenants are responsible for safekeeping of accommodation keys. Duplicates are not always available. Tenants who already occupy a premise, who require a key from Jindabyne Central after office hours will be charged a service fee of $35.00. If keys are lost, locks must be changed and the tenant will be responsible for reimbursement of these costs.
  • All damage, breakages or losses to the property and /or furniture and furnishings will be charged to you. An inventory list is provided as a benefit to you. At the end of each stay the contents are checked against the list. If for some reason you find something damaged or broken when you arrive at the premises please report it to us immediately.
  • No person on the premises shall be guilty of conduct that is a nuisance to the adjoining neighbouring occupiers.
  • If you find a maintenance problem please advise us immediately. The tenant agrees to allow our representative to enter accommodation to arrange necessary repairs. Please note that some maintenance problems may take time to be repaired. Jindabyne has limited access to trade and maintenance personnel.
  • All Jindabyne Central properties are 100% NON SMOKING. Any tenants that are found to be smoking or any evidence of this will incur at the minimum, an extra cleaning charge.
  • Any breach of the above conditions will result in the immediate termination of your stay. Any costs associated with any repair, excess cleaning or loss of income as a result of tenants, guest's or visitors actions, negligence or misconduct will be recovered from you.
  • By making a booking you acknowledge that if the premises are not vacated and the key(s) are not returned to Jindabyne Central by 10am on the day of departure then an extra days rental will be charged. I understand that the removal of my possessions will be with due care and that no claim shall be made for accidental loss or damage.
  • Weather Conditions

    Under no circumstances can Jindabyne Central or any of the property owners be held responsible for snow or weather conditions, nor can any holidays be cancelled other than in accordance with the cancellation policy detailed above.

    Changes, Responsibility and Further

    Conditions - All information in respect of goods & services offered, including prices, is subject to alteration or withdrawal without notice. Jindabyne Central & all Independent Operators reserve the right to alter, amend or cancel all or any arrangements or prices in regard to accommodation, tours or packages. The right to alter prices referred to in the preceding paragraph applies until Jindabyne Central has received a deposit.
    In particular Jindabyne Central reserves the right to cancel bookings should any issues arise with a particular property such as urgent maintenance or in the case of new properties if the property has not been completed in time for the booking. In this case money paid by the customer will be refunded in full.
    Midweek stays are Sunday to Thursday nights. Weekends are Friday & Saturday nights.
    Minimum stay requirements may apply & you will be notified of any such requirements at the time you make a reservation.
    Packages may not be available during certain periods & are subject to availability at all times.
    If you require any information about whether a particular property has GST included in its rates then please contact Jindabyne Central.
    Activities referred to on the Jindabyne Central web site may be hazardous & involve risk to participants. Participants should carefully assess risks & their own fitness levels in choosing activities.
    No responsibility or liability is accepted or undertaken by Jindabyne Central, its employees, agents or contractors or any Independent Operator, its employees, agents or contractors for any death, injury, accident, damage to personal property (including baggage) or any other matter arising from any act, omission or thing outside of their control.
    In addition to the terms & conditions set out above, any booking is subject to such further terms & conditions as advised at the time of booking or as may be displayed at the time of utilisation of the item or service.
    Any provision of, or the application of any provision of, these term & conditions which is void, illegal or unenforceable in any jurisdiction does not affect the validity, legality or enforceability of that provision in any other jurisdiction or of the remaining provisions in that or any other jurisdiction.

    Travel Insurance

    Jindabyne Central recommends you obtain travel insurance. This insurance can protect you against loss of personal belongings, public liability & also against your need to cancel under certain conditions as indicated in your travel insurance brochure.
